  Armenia determined to re-organize defense sectorMay 15, 2009 - 23:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan briefed on priorities in the rpublic's defense sector during "Security and Cooperation in Caucasus and Around It" conference in Yerevan. "Defense reforms target modernization of efficiency growth, neutralization of military threats and contribution to global security," he said, adding that reforms should be carried out simultaneously in all countries of the region.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
