Flights from the Russian cities to Baku and Ganja have reportedly been canceled due to the revocation of slots by the airports Azerbaijan in connection with the revocation of flight permission by the aviation authorities of the country. Azerbaijan Airlines said the jet that crashed in Kazakhstan experienced “physical and technical external interference,” according to an early investigation. At least 38 of the 67 people on board the plane were killed in the crash, Kazakh authorities confirmed, including two pilots and a flight attendant.
