During his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, Pezeshkian emphasized the need for regional countries to resolve issues independently. “We, along with Iran’s Supreme Leader, firmly believe that regional problems should only be addressed through agreements among the countries of the region. There is no need for external powers, as their involvement only worsens the situation,” Pezeshkian said. He highlighted the strategic and comprehensive nature of Russia-Iran relations, affirming both nations' commitment to close cooperation. Putin and Pezeshkian are expected to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran following the talks. Photo.
