His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, has urged Armenians worldwide to join in prayer for their safe return. The statement highlights the plight of prisoners, including political and military leaders, soldiers, and civilians, and calls for unity in seeking their release. Baku has confirmed holding 23 captives, 17 of whom were detained following the September 2023 military aggression against Artsakh, among them former presidents and prominent figures. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
