Armenia, Russia achieve significant results in EAEU: Lavrov

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted during a meeting in Moscow with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan that cooperation between Armenia and Russia within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has yielded impressive results.

"Our cooperation, both bilaterally and within the EAEU framework, delivers remarkable outcomes," Lavrov stated, as reported by RIA Novosti.

The minister expressed hope that this progress would contribute to Armenia’s socio-economic development and help address the challenges the country faces.

Ararat Mirzoyan, for his part, emphasized the positive dynamics in the development of humanitarian ties with Russia.

"I am pleased to note the positive trend in the development of Armenian-Russian dialogue in the humanitarian sphere. Regular meetings are held between figures from science and culture," he said, according to RIA Novosti.

He added that bilateral relations encompass a wide range of multifaceted issues.

The negotiations between the foreign ministers of Russia and Armenia are taking place in Moscow. The sides are discussing a broad agenda, including bilateral relations, cooperation within the EAEU, and other Eurasian integration structures.
