RA Foreign Minister congratulates Rubio, looks forward to cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan congratulated Marco Rubio on his appointment as U.S. Secretary of State and expressed eagerness to cooperate.

"Armenia highly values its strategic partnership with the United States, based on shared values and interests. We look forward to strengthening our cooperation for the security, democracy, and prosperity of our countries," Mirzoyan shared on X.

On January 14, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed a strategic partnership document in Washington, enhancing bilateral cooperation.

During the signing ceremony, Blinken announced that a U.S. team specializing in customs and border security would travel to Armenia in the coming weeks to collaborate with Armenian partners on strengthening border security capabilities.
