Pashinyan to visit the U.S. in early February

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled to visit the United States in early February. The announcement was made on Facebook by the Prime Minister's Press Secretary, Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

"The Prime Minister will participate in the 5th annual International Religious Freedom Summit in Washington and the National Prayer Breakfast. During the summit, the Armenian Prime Minister will deliver a speech," the statement reads.

*On January 14, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed a strategic partnership agreement in Washington, strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

Blinken stated at the signing ceremony that a U.S. team specializing in customs and border security will visit Armenia in the coming weeks to work with Armenian counterparts on enhancing border security capabilities.*
