Armenian, French officials discuss partnership

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 24, Armenian Ambassador to France, Arman Khachatryan, met with the Secretary-General of France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Anne-Marie Descôtes, as reported by the Armenian Embassy in France.

The meeting focused on advancing the Armenian-French partnership and strengthening the friendly ties between the two nations.

In addition to the extensive bilateral agenda, the parties discussed security challenges facing Armenia and regional issues.

Earlier, it was announced that the Armenian Ministry of Defense signed a military-technical cooperation agreement with the French defense company KNDS. Armenian Defense Minister Papikyan attended the opening ceremony of the Eurosatory international exhibition, toured the pavilions, reviewed the showcased equipment, and held meetings with representatives of several defense industry companies.
