Vardan Kostanyan leaves trade attaché post in Iran

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decree dismissing Vardan Kostanyan from his position as Armenia’s trade attaché in Iran.

"Based on Article 10, Clause 9 of the Law on Diplomatic Service and Clause 10 of the Appendix to Government Decision No. 1935-N dated December 23, 2004, Vardan Kostanyan is relieved of his duties as the Republic of Armenia’s trade attaché in the Islamic Republic of Iran," the decree states.

In a separate decision, the prime minister has appointed Kostanyan as deputy minister of territorial administration and infrastructure.

"Pursuant to Article 9, Clause 1 of the Law on Public Service, Vardan Kostanyan is appointed deputy minister of territorial administration and infrastructure," the document reads.
