Armenia calls for easier access to EAEU business funding![]() January 31, 2025 - 19:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - At the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in Almaty, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated that expanding access to financing is crucial for the development of joint business projects within the EAEU. According to him, easier access to financial support would increase interest in cooperative projects, reports Sputnik Armenia. Grigoryan emphasized the need to improve support mechanisms for agriculture and industry, as well as to modernize customs and logistics infrastructure. "This is especially important for Armenia, given its lack of direct borders with other EAEU member states," Grigoryan noted. He added that despite current challenges, Armenia remains committed to strengthening the efficiency of the EAEU. "Despite all difficulties, we continue working toward an effective union that will successfully operate under modern conditions," he stressed. On January 31, as part of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council session in Almaty, the Digital Almaty forum was also held, where Grigoryan and other officials highlighted the importance of digital technologies.
