Armenia sees 8% economic activity growth in 2024![]() February 1, 2025 - 12:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's economic activity index grew by 8% in January–December 2024 compared to the same period in the previous year, according to the Statistical Committee. During this period, the volume of industry, trade, construction, agriculture, and services increased. In December 2024, compared to December 2023, the economic activity index rose by 4.7%. For the year, industrial output increased by 4.7%, construction by 14.5%, trade turnover by 17%, gross agricultural production by 1.6%, and service volumes by 10.6%. The consumer price index grew by 0.3%, while the industrial product price index increased by 3.6%. The average monthly nominal wage rose by 6.4%, with public sector wages increasing by 7.9% and private sector wages by 5.7%.
