Armenian Defense Minister travels to India for talks

PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 8, a delegation led by Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan departed for the Republic of India, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported.

The visit is working in nature.

India’s Ministry of Defense reported that in the 2023-24 fiscal year, the main importers of Indian defense industry products were the U.S., France, and Armenia.

In November 2024, the Indian publication Indian Defense Research Wing reported that India had begun supplying Armenia with Pinaka missile systems, noting that the deliveries coincided with shipments of Indian AKASH air defense missile systems.
