Armenian, Indian Defense Ministers discuss expanding cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - During his working visit to India, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss opportunities for expanding defense cooperation.

Both ministers expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation, according to Armenia’s Defense Ministry.

They also addressed several key issues related to regional and international security.

The discussions were attended by Armenia’s Ambassador to India, Vahagn Afyan, and the Chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, Aram Jivanyan.

On February 11, Papikyan took part in the defense ministers’ gathring at the Aero India exhibition, delivering a speech on "Building Resilience Through International Defense and Global Engagement."
