Enjoy briefs French Senate on Armenia's peace efforts

PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 12, Armenia's Ambassador to France, Arman Khachatryan, met with members of the France-Armenia Friendship Group in the French Senate. During the meeting, he presented Armenia’s position on the peace treaty with Azerbaijan, according to the Armenian Embassy in France.

Khachatryan also addressed the ongoing Armenia-Azerbaijan border demarcation process and the unblocking of regional communications within Armenia’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative.

He expressed gratitude to the French Senate, particularly to its President, Gérard Larcher, and its members, for their continued attention to Armenia and the Armenian people, as well as their unwavering support.

The ambassador highly valued the French Senate’s adoption of multiple resolutions in support of Armenia, the organization of conferences and discussions, and the visits of Senate leaders to Armenia during challenging periods.

At the request of the senators, Khachatryan also spoke about the Armenia-France bilateral agenda, highlighting regular high-level contacts, the deepening of strategic partnership, and expanded cooperation in defense, economy, and infrastructure.

Members of the France-Armenia Friendship Group, led by its President Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening French-Armenian friendship and advancing Armenia-France cooperation. Ambassador Khachatryan also answered senators' questions during the meeting.
