Azerbaijan eyes Armenia, Russia and Iran as enemies

PanARMENIAN.Net - Mirror Azeri newspaper conducted a survey among public figures to find out which countries are friendly and which are not.



Opinions did not differ much. Turkey is Azerbaijan's number one friend while Armenia is number one enemy. Iran and Russia share the second position as enemies.



Military expert Ildirim Mammadov rated Turkey, Pakistan and Northern Cyprus among friends. He labeled Russia, Armenia and Iran as enemies.



Human rights activist Eldar Zeynalov labeled Armenia as number one enemy. Russia and Iran are doubtful friends. His counterpart Leyla Yunus said, "Armenia is number one and number two enemy. Then comes Iran."



All respondents agreed that but for Georgian nationalists, this country could follow Turkey in the list of friends.
