Armenia sees 140,000 tourist arrivals in January 2025

PanARMENIAN.Net - In January 2025, a total of 139,482 tourists visited Armenia, according to the country's Tourism Committee. The majority (65%) arrived by air.

This marks a slight decline from the previous year when 154,319 tourists visited Armenia during the same period.

Russia topped the list of visitor sources, accounting for 55,130 arrivals (39.5%). Georgia followed with 17,920 tourists (13%), while 13,186 visitors (9.4%) came from Iran.

India and the Philippines ranked fourth and fifth, with 2,033 and 2,002 tourists, respectively. Meanwhile, 1,732 visitors arrived from Ukraine.

The highest January tourist arrival record was set in 2023, when 159,319 visitors traveled to Armenia.

The most active tourist demographic remains 35–44-year-olds.
