Armenian basketball team defeats Albania in World Cup qualifier

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s national basketball team faced Albania in the final round of the FIBA World Cup pre-qualifiers. The match, held in Tirana, ended with Armenia emerging victorious.

In the first quarter, Armenia gained an early advantage and maintained it until the break, leading 17:22. Despite Albania's strong performance in the second quarter, Armenia went into halftime with a 33:47 lead, according to Armenpress.

During the third and fourth quarters, Armenia held onto its lead and secured a 70:91 victory.

In Division C of the World Cup pre-qualifiers, Armenia finished in second place. Austria topped the standings, while Albania ended at the bottom of the table.
