Iran supports peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, says FM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has confirmed that Iran remains committed to supporting the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stressing that Tehran is prepared to contribute to this effort. He made these remarks at a press conference following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Tehran, Minval.az reports.

Araghchi noted that the discussions covered bilateral relations between Iran and Russia, as well as pressing regional and international issues.

Earlier, during a meeting with Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, Araghchi stated that Tehran is willing to contribute to promoting peace and stability in the region.
