FM: Armenia fulfilled all commitments for regional peace

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated in parliament that Armenia has not failed any commitment, including regarding the unblocking of regional infrastructure, for ensuring peace in the region.

This was his response to statements from the Azerbaijani side.

"We are ready to contribute to the unblocking of regional transport infrastructure as soon as possible, but this issue is not just about Azerbaijan. Unblocking is a broader concept," he said.

Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote in an article that Armenia’s roads are open to Azerbaijani transport and that all preparations for regional connectivity have been made. Only Baku’s agreement is required for implementation.

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Aykhan Hajizadeh, responding to a question about Pashinyan’s article, stated that Armenia must take practical steps to open communications.
