Protest planned outside UN office in Yerevan on March 14

PanARMENIAN.Net - A protest is set to take place on March 14 in front of the UN office in Yerevan, where participants will demand that UN representatives attend the fabricated trials in Baku. This was announced on Facebook by Mane Tandilyan, co-founder of the Country to Live party.

"Dear compatriots, dear friends, the fight for our compatriots in Baku continues.

When: Friday, 1:00 PM

Where: In front of the UN office in Yerevan.

We will demand that UN representatives visit our prisoners in Baku and attend the sham trials.

The Armenian people are responsible for their compatriots," the statement reads.

Mane Tandilyan had declared a hunger strike on March 1 in support of Ruben Vardanyan, who had gone on hunger strike in a Baku prison. She ended her protest on March 12 at the request of Vardanyan's family.
