Romania, Netherlands welcome Armenia-Azerbaijan peace deal

PanARMENIAN.Net - Romania welcomed the conclusion of negotiations on the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. “We congratulate Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov for their tireless efforts and courage. Lasting peace is crucial for stability, prosperity, and unlocking the region's immense potential.,” the statement said.

Netherlands also welcomes the agreement, “It's very encouraging that Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed on a peace agreement. I congratulate both countries on this important step. Challenges remain, but signing the agreement is within reach. This is vital for lasting peace, regional stability, and prosperity. The Netherlands strongly supports this process.”

On March 13, Armenia and Azerbaijan announced that they had reached a final agreement on the text of the peace agreement. The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated readiness to discuss the timing and location of the agreement's signing with Baku. Many countries have already welcomed the agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and expressed hope that the treaty will be signed as soon as possible.
