He proposed sending the constitutions of Armenia and Azerbaijan for expert review, as reported by Radar.am . "Ultimately, how will this issue be resolved? We believe that after passing through our domestic institutions, such questions will no longer arise. We can send both constitutions for expert analysis to determine whether these claims have any basis in reality," Simonyan said, adding that excuses could always be found. He emphasized that Armenia has maintained a fact-based approach in negotiations with Azerbaijan and will continue to do so. "So far, in negotiations with Azerbaijan, we have ensured that every argument is substantiated, and we will continue working in this logical and well-grounded manner, rather than making statements for domestic audiences or political motives," he noted. Regarding the mechanisms for constitutional review, Simonyan suggested that the Venice Commission could be involved. "We can submit both constitutions to the Venice Commission and let them determine whether such claims exist," he said. He added that Armenia has already provided evidence demonstrating that its constitution contains no territorial claims. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
