Pashinyan praises Greece's role in Armenia's democratic reforms

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the occasion of the Greek Independence Day, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, highlighting that Greece, as the cradle of democracy, continues to serve as a vivid example of parliamentary democracy today.

He expressed high appreciation for Greece's support for the democratic reforms being carried out in Armenia.

"I warmly congratulate you and the brotherly Greek people on the occasion of Greece's Independence Day, wishing peace and prosperity to your country. Greece not only holds an exceptional role as the birthplace of democracy but also continues to successfully stand as a shining example of parliamentary democracy today.

We highly value Greece’s support for the democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia, as well as the further deepening of Armenia-EU cooperation.

The friendship between Armenia and Greece is based on the unwavering friendship, mutual respect, and trust of our two brotherly nations. I am confident that through upcoming joint programs, the potential for multifaceted cooperation between the two countries will be fully utilized, raising it to a strategic level for the benefit and welfare of both peoples.

I look forward to meeting in the near future, and please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my deepest respect," the message reads.
