Levon Barseghyan, mayor candidate for Gyumri representing the Euroalliance bloc in the upcoming snap municipal elections, stated that the alliance will not form a coalition with any political force.

“There will be no such thing, Euroalliance will not enter into coalition with any political party,” he said, according to Panorama.am .

According to Barseghyan, recent days have seen recurring speculation that Euroalliance is serving the interests of the current authorities and intends to form a coalition with the Civil Contract party after the elections.

“We believe our program is the best. For various reasons, we will not form a coalition with any political force. We will not negotiate with anyone asking them to give us their votes in exchange for positions. That will not happen. This is our final answer to all such questions,” he emphasized.

The municipal elections in Gyumri are scheduled for March 30.
