Armenia among world's top 10 safest countries![]() April 1, 2025 - 15:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has been ranked among the world’s safest countries, securing the 8th position in Numbeo’s 2025 Crime and Safety Index with a score of 77.9, according to Armenpress. This is the second consecutive year Armenia holds the same rank, having scored 77.8 in the November 2024 index. Andorra topped the list with 84.7 points, followed by the United Arab Emirates (84.5) and Qatar (84.2). Taiwan took fourth place with a score of 82.9, and Oman ranked fifth with 81.7. Among regional countries, Georgia ranked 21st with 73.7 points, Azerbaijan 33rd with 68.2, Turkey 57th with 58.8, and Iran 93rd with 49.5. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
