Alexanyan, a four-time world champion, seven-time European champion, and a European Games winner, is recognized as one of the most decorated and legendary figures in Greco-Roman wrestling. Armen Babalyan, Honored Coach of Armenia and a Soviet Master of Sport of international class, has been awarded the title of Best Greco-Roman Coach in Europe. He currently serves as the head coach of the Armenian national Greco-Roman wrestling team.
