Azerbaijan holds drills simulating combat in civilian areas, MP says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan is conducting tactical exercises involving air force units, simultaneously escalating ceasefire violations along the frontlines, Armenian Member of Parliament Tigran Abrahamyan stated in a Facebook post.

He emphasized that the scenario of these exercises involves the capture of combat positions, followed by a special operation conducted within a residential area.

“Apart from the military component, Azerbaijan is significantly investing in political, psychological, and propaganda tools against Armenia. The overarching goal is to increase multifaceted pressure on our country,” Abrahamyan wrote.

He also criticized the Armenian authorities, remarking, “During this time, the country’s leadership is reaching new ‘heights’ in cycling, ensuring firm ‘defense’ in propaganda battles against the opposition, and pushing forward with politically motivated prosecutions of their critics.”
