Mkhitaryan says he may end career soon

PanARMENIAN.Net - Henrikh Mkhitaryan, former captain of the Armenian national team and current Inter Milan midfielder, has addressed the topic of potentially ending his career.

"I'm truly happy with what I’ve achieved at this stage of my football career. This may not happen again; it’s possible I will retire at the end of the season. But right now, I’m simply very happy to be playing for this club and to be part of everything we’re trying to accomplish," Mkhitaryan told Football-Italia.

Mkhitaryan said playing every three to four days is more enjoyable than playing once a week, reports Armenpress.

"Taking part in all competitions gives me great motivation to keep going. We treat every match as if it’s our last," said the Armenian footballer.

As part of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, Inter Milan will host Bayern Munich on April 16, following their 2-1 victory in the previous leg.
