Wanted foreigner caught at Bagratashen checkpoint

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 16, a 37-year-old foreign national was discovered at the Bagratashen border control checkpoint and was transferred to the Noyemberyan division of the Community Police.

According to Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, the man has been wanted by Uzbek law enforcement since March 4, 2022, on fraud charges. His designated pre-trial measure is detention.

Authorities have notified the originating country of his apprehension.
