The delegation will include representatives from the private sector, members of the Iran-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, and governors from four northwestern Iranian provinces. During the visit, discussions will focus on enhancing economic cooperation, organizing future business missions, and the operation of the Aghband-Kalala bridge, which holds strategic importance for bilateral trade. This visit marks President Pezeshkian's first official trip to Azerbaijan since taking office and reflects a mutual interest in expanding economic ties between the neighboring countries. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
