Catholicos urges unity above personal ambitions

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the Easter Mass, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II emphasized that the current national security challenges are exacerbated by deepening internal divisions and crises.

He called on the public to “place the nation’s interests above personal and group ambitions and reject harmful, imposed actions against the homeland.”

“Let us reject lies and falsehoods, and completely cast away destructive behaviors and actions. Let us not tolerate words and deeds that belittle or devalue our past, our historical memory, or endanger our future. Let us unite around our faith, identity, values, history, our state, and a shared vision for the future—around all that is sacred and unifying for us as a nation, both in Armenia and the diaspora,” the Catholicos declared.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan did not attend the Easter Mass held at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Other officials were also absent. The EU Ambassador was present.
