Pashinyan visits Estonia, meets Armenian community

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, on an official visit to Estonia, met with representatives of the Armenian community in Tallinn on the evening of April 27.

Pashinyan spoke about the discussions scheduled during his visit and the prospects for further development of relations between Armenia and Estonia.

He presented the “Real Armenia" ideology, addressing the challenges facing Armenia and outlining ways to overcome them.

The Prime Minister answered questions from the participants concerning regional developments, the Armenian government's peace agenda, its priorities, and initiatives aimed at the country's development.

On the following day, Prime Minister Pashinyan is scheduled to meet with President of Estonia Alar Karis, Speaker of the Parliament Lauri Hussar, and Prime Minister Kaja Kallas. The two prime ministers will also hold a joint press conference.

The Armenian delegation includes Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan; Head of the Armenia-Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia Parliamentary Friendship Group Arsen Torosyan; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vahan Kostanyan; First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan, among others.

Diplomatic relations between Armenia and Estonia were established on August 23, 1992. Over the years, more than a dozen agreements and memoranda have been signed to strengthen ties in various fields.
