Tbilisi hosts NATO training with Armenian, Azerbaijani forces

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 28, multinational NATO exercises kicked off in Tbilisi, with Armenian officers among the participants, according to Georgia’s Public Broadcaster citing the country's Ministry of Defense.

According to the same source, military personnel from 17 different countries are participating, including from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, European Union member states, and Tunisia, reports RFE/RL.

"The aim of the exercises is to prepare a multinational brigade-level unit under Georgian leadership, focusing on planning and crisis response operations," the Georgian Ministry of Defense stated.
