FIRST ARMENIAN FEATURE FILM SHOT IN USA PREMIERE TO TAKE PLACE IN SEPTEMBER

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Armenian family melodrama shot in USA will be presented to the Armenian audience this September. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, the picture producer Harutyun Sagarian, who also played one of the starring roles, stated it at the film presentation at the Ministry of Culture of Armenia. Since 1991 Sagarian contributes to the Armenian culture development by means of his charitable activity. He is chairman of the Writers' house in Los-Angeles, where works of artists from Armenia have been exhibited numerous times. The shooting of the 2.5-hour-long film started February 20 and finished May 20 this year. The film director is Sarkis Muradian, and cameraman is Jimmy Williams. Alla Tumanian, Levon Sharafian, Raffi Danielian, Artur Israelian, Alis Gaplanjian, Alik Khachatrian and Mariam Vardanian actors participated in it. Lusine Sargsian young talented actress, who has worked in Yerevan State Academic Theater after G.Sundukian, is the performer of the starring role. The film is at the stage of montage at present. "Alicia" picture presentation is planned in September.
