Travel ban imposed on nor nork administrative head, staff

PanARMENIAN.Net - A criminal investigation has been launched following a brawl at the Nor Nork district administration, resulting in travel bans for four accused individuals, including the district head.

According to the Investigative Committee's spokesperson, Kima Avdalyan, all four suspects, including the mayor, are prohibited from leaving Armenia as a precautionary measure.

Sources indicate that the other three accused are members of the district administration staff. The case was initiated based on actions characterized as physical retaliation by a group of individuals.

In a separate criminal case involving alleged hooliganism via information or communication technologies, two individuals—activist Artur Chakhoyan and Yerevan City Council member Mesrop Manukyan from the "Mother Armenia" faction—have also been subjected to travel bans.

Previously, Chakhoyan and Manukyan released a joint video highlighting substandard renovation work at Kindergarten No. 105 in Nor Nork. Subsequently, Chakhoyan claimed that the district head called and threatened them. The next day, they staged a protest at the district administration building, releasing an audio recording of the call, which included mutual insults. As the mayor was absent, they poured yogurt over his photos during the protest.
