Government to fund 30 per cent of ArmTech

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Government intends to cover 30 per cent of expenses of the ArmTech congress, RA economy minister Nerses Yeritsyan told a news conference today.



The budget of the event can total $1 million but a number of Armenian companies, organizers and volunteers will participate in the project free of change, Synopsys Armenia Executive Director Rich Goldman said.



According to him, much to be anticipated from the congress, since the event will be held in close cooperation between the government, educational and R&D institutions, which is a guarantee of success of the congress.



The ArmTech congress will take place in the Silicon Valley, California between November 5 to 8, 2009. 300 to 350 participants and 30 companies from Armenia are expected to participate in the event.
