RA PM rumored to visit Ankara for Erdoğan meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan may visit Ankara to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, but his spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan has declined to confirm or deny this information, reports Factor.am .

“All official international visits by the Prime Minister of Armenia are announced in a timely manner,” Baghdasaryan said.

Earlier, 24News, citing its own high-ranking diplomatic source, reported that Pashinyan is scheduled to travel to Turkey’s capital on June 20 to hold talks with Erdoğan.

According to the source, the two leaders are expected to discuss both the progress of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and the state of Armenian-Turkish dialogue. The agenda also reportedly includes key points concerning a possible “peace agreement” with Baku, with further details to be announced later.

On May 16, Pashinyan had a conversation with Erdoğan in Tirana. Last September, the two also met on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
