Six cars burn in Yerevan’s Tsarav Aghbyur parking area

PanARMENIAN.Net - A fire erupted early June 27 in the underground parking lot of a residential building on Tsarav Aghbyur Street in Yerevan, prompting the evacuation of 350 residents as a safety precaution. No injuries have been reported, according to preliminary information.

The National Crisis Management Center received an alert at 04:38 a.m., and six fire-rescue crews from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Yerevan Rescue Department, along with crisis management and fire suppression specialists, were dispatched to the scene under a Level 2 response protocol. One aerial ladder truck was also deployed.

The blaze was contained by 7:00 a.m. and fully extinguished by 8:36 a.m. Six cars were damaged, two of them partially. Firefighters successfully prevented the flames from spreading to nearby vehicles and other parts of the building.
