Yerevan details steps to deepen EU partnership

PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 10, Armenia’s Permanent Representation to the European Union, in partnership with the international magazine Diplomatic World, hosted a discussion in Brussels focused on the development of Armenia-EU cooperation and current regional dynamics.

According to the Armenian mission to the EU, Ambassador Tigran Balayan served as the main speaker and delivered an extensive overview of the Armenian government's initiatives aimed at advancing alignment with the European Union. He highlighted opportunities to deepen collaboration as well as the key obstacles that both sides face in this process.

Addressing regional developments, Balayan emphasized the importance of unblocking regional transport links and presented the government's Crossroads of Peace initiative as a framework for achieving that goal.

The event was attended by representatives from various EU institutions, think tanks, civil society organizations, academia, and the media, who shared perspectives and posed questions to the ambassador.
