Armenian freestyle wrestlers enter Budapest ranking tournament![]() July 17, 2025 - 15:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian freestyle wrestlers Vazgen Tevanyan (65 kg) and Arman Andreasyan (70 kg) will participate in the Budapest Ranking Series tournament. 2025 Polyák Imre & Varga János Memorial Tournament will take place from July 17 to 20. According to the Armenian Wrestling Federation, freestyle competitions will open the tournament schedule. In Greco-Roman wrestling, Armenia will be represented by Karen Aslanyan (63 kg), Samvel Grigoryan (82 kg), and Hayk Khloyan (97 kg), who will also compete during the tournament. Armenia’s Narek Manasyan (92kg) won Armenia’s second silver medal at the European Boxing Championships 2024 on April 28. Armenian gymnast, Olympic bronze medalist Artur Davtyan has reached the finals of the World Cup.
