Ruben Kochar's new film release is planned this autumn

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ruben Kochar is shooting a new film named "Sghta" (The Chain) in Armenia and US.



According to film director, this is one of the most large-scale movies he ever shot. Movie release is expected in autumn 2009.



Hovhannes Babakhanyan and Narine Lalayan are starring in the movie. This has been their third work with Ruben Kochar.



Ruben Kochar was born in Yerevan, Armenia. He graduated from Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, Department of Film Directing in 1974. He has directed numerous films - documentaries, shorts, musicals and features. Ruben Kochar is the winner of National Soviet Prix of Movie Art Industry; first Grand Prix of Arsenal International Film Festival in Riga, Latvia; Avant-Guard Prix in Moscow; and Grand Prix USSR World Award, diplomat of Â'LeninskyÂ' Medal.



In 1992 Ruben Kochar founded AITN (Armenian International Television Network) in the US and is the Producer and Art Director of Â"ARPIÂ" television daily program, which has been airing in Los Angeles since 1992.
