Defense ministry denies capture of army post near Jermuk

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Ministry of Defense has dismissed claims circulating on social media alleging the capture of an army position near Jermuk. Aram Torosyan, the ministry’s spokesperson, made the statement on his official Facebook page.

"The information disseminated in the press and on social media claiming that 'an army position was captured near Jermuk' does not correspond to reality," the post reads.

"We urge everyone to refrain from spreading false information, especially since the Ministry of Defense refuted the rumors in response to the very first journalistic inquiry," it added.
