Pashinyan says future is already here

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, reacting to footage of large-scale Vardavar celebrations, wrote on his Facebook page that he sees no sign of the apathy and hatred the opposition speaks of.

He wrote, “In 2021, the people believed there is a future—today, they realize the future has arrived. The future is today.”

“Certain opposition groups constantly claim that Armenia is gripped by tension, apathy, and hatred. Now, as I watch scenes from the massive Vardavar celebrations, I ask myself: where is that tension, that apathy, that hatred?

We must not project the apathy, tension, hatred, and despair of a pseudo-elite clique onto the people. In 2021, the people believed there is a future—today, they realize the future has arrived. The future is today.

Glory to the martyrs and long live the Republic of Armenia,” Pashinyan’s post reads.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is currently on vacation from July 28 to August 15.
