Gabriel Chenberjian's travel ban lifted by court

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Anti-Corruption Court, presided over by Sargis Petrosyan, has granted the appeal filed by the defense of Gabriel Chenberjian against the pre-trial restriction prohibiting him from leaving the country. As a result, the travel ban has been lifted. This was announced by his lawyer, Mikayel Hambardzumyan.

"During the eight-month-long preliminary investigation, no investigative actions were conducted involving Mr. Chenberjian. Moreover, both the investigator and the prosecutor refused to lift the travel ban without providing any reasonable justification. The court’s decision has now restored the violated right," Hambardzumyan wrote.
