Papoyan, Gallagher discuss UK investment prospects in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan received United Kingdom Ambassador John Gallagher, who is concluding his diplomatic mission, and emphasized the ambassador’s significant contribution to strengthening economic relations between the two countries.

The meeting focused on assessing the United Kingdom’s investment potential, particularly in the context of possible projects within Armenia’s free economic zones.

They also discussed opportunities for bilateral cooperation, ongoing steps by the ministry toward economic diversification, and Armenia’s recently adopted export strategy.

“Armenia is interested in continuing and deepening cooperation with the United Kingdom, especially in the areas of joint industrial production, development of free economic zones, and the promotion of innovation-based entrepreneurship,” Papoyan stated.
