RA, Azerbaijani FMs discuss declaration’s implementation![]() August 12, 2025 - 19:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 12, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. The ministers discussed the implementation of the Joint Declaration signed following the summit in Washington, as well as measures aimed at strengthening trust, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported. Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov exchanged views on regional issues and reaffirmed their readiness to continue direct dialogue. On August 8, at the White House, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a trilateral meeting during which a Joint Declaration was signed on the results of the Washington meeting. In the presence of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov initialed the “Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.” Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
