Armenian citizens can now travel to Oman visa-free

PanARMENIAN.Net - Starting August 11, Armenian citizens are exempt from the visa requirement to enter Oman, the Armenian Foreign Ministry announced.

Oman’s government made the decision in response to Armenia’s earlier move to unilaterally lift visa requirements for Omani nationals.

From now on, Armenian citizens will be able to visit Oman for short stays without a visa, a step aimed at boosting tourism links and people-to-people contacts between the two countries.

The announcement came following political consultations between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Oman.
