Fans to march ahead of Armenia-Portugal match

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ahead of the September 6 football match between Armenia and Portugal, the FAF movement has announced a major fan march beginning at France Square, near the Aram Khachaturyan statue. Participants are expected to gather from 4:00 p.m.

According to the FAF statement, the march will unite with the Red Eagles group at Sakharov Square, and both will head together toward the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium.

“All participants are asked to wear black, bring national or team scarves and flags, and avoid wearing jerseys or gear of the opposing or unrelated teams,” the statement said.

Various games and competitions are planned at France Square before the march begins.

Due to the excitement surrounding the match, the presence of counterfeit tickets, and the resale of genuine tickets, organizers have set the march start time at 5:45 p.m. to avoid congestion. The game kicks off at 8:00 p.m.

On September 6, Armenia’s national team will face Portugal at the Republican Stadium, with the match set to begin at 8:00 p.m.
