Trump again confuses Armenia with Albania

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. President Donald Trump, during an interview with Fox News, again confused Armenia with Albania.

“I’ve ended wars that were thought unsolvable. Azerbaijan and Albania. That went on for many, many years,” Trump said.

The U.S. president had made the same mistake back in August during an interview with American journalist Mark Levin.

On August 8, during a trilateral meeting at the White House with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a joint declaration was signed summarizing the outcomes of the Washington meeting.

In Washington, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, in the presence of the three leaders, initialed the “Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
