Families of missing soldiers to receive support for 2 more months![]() September 18, 2025 - 18:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian government extended financial support for families of soldiers missing since the 44-day war, granting payments for August and September. At its September 18 session, the government decided that families of missing servicemen will continue to receive monthly assistance of 300,000 drams for two additional months. Support had been halted as of August 1, 2025, under existing regulations. The new decision ensures payments will also cover August and September. Currently, 21 families of missing servicemen still have no court rulings recognizing the soldiers as officially absent. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners.
